The first settlement started 250 years ago by Arabian sailors who named the island ‘Zajira’. During British occupation the island was named St. Martin Island. During the First Anglo-Burmese War between the British and Burmese empires in 1824–1826, rival claims to the island were a major factor. 7 AM: Reached at Teknaf. Breakfast will be served.
9 AM: Journey to Saint Martin island on ship (Bridge deck). The sea and the fishes will surely refresh your body and mind.
12 PM: Reached at Saint Martin. Check in to local house where you will be staying.
2 PM: Lunch will be served at a local restaurant with Plain rice, fresh fish, vorta & dal.
You will be visited different parts of the island in the rest of the day
12 PM: Back to Saint Martin Island
2 PM: Launch will be served.
3 PM: Journey to Teknaf on ship.
6 PM: Reached at Teknaf
7 PM: Journey to Cox’s Bazar.
10 PM: Dinner will be served in a restaurant.
11 PM: Journey to Dhaka from Cox’s Bazar
7 AM: Reached at Dhaka within the first light of the morning.
